- Boundaries: Louisiana border to West Matagorda
- Weigh In Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- No lines in water before 6 am.
- · PFD’S (LIFE JACKETS) MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES DURING TOURNAMENT HOURS
- · Weigh-in times will be 3:00 - 4:00 pm (unless otherwise noted). You must be checked in on official sign-in sheet before 4:00 pm to qualify.
- · You may launch at any time but no lines may enter the water before 6 am on the day of event.
- ·No frozen or mutilated fish
- The fish is frozen if it can’t be bent as determined by Weigh Master
- A mutilated fish if it looks beat up or eaten by crabs, altered, etc. as determined by Weigh Master.
- · If a fish is disqualified due to length requirements, only that fish will be DQ'd and entrant will be allowed to submit rest of their stringer. If a blatant disregard to rules is found (such as a frozen or thawed fish, fish has been stuffed for extra weight, fish has been trimmed, etc.), angler will be DQ'd.
- · Weigh Master retains the right to hold and inspect all fish if deemed necessary. Simply put; You CHEAT, You're OUT! All final decisions regarding this will be at the Weigh Master and Tournament Director's discretion.
- · Teammates must launch together and stay within 100 yards of each other at all times during tournament hours.
- · All fish must be caught during the day of the event during allotted times (TBD)
- · All fish must be caught by rod and reel with any bait live or artificial. Trolling as a method of fishing WILL BE allowed.
- · Kayak, canoe, hybrid kayak, etc. paddle or peddle craft only. No motors unless you are disabled or over 60. KAYAK MUST BE LAUNCHED. You can wade once the kayak is launched, but must stay tethered to vessel.
- · Kayak must be launched at a public accessible launch area that is made available to the general public. No launching from private property or any place that requires "special permission".
- · Participants are not allowed to fish within 100 yards of another tourney entrant unless that participant is waived in or invited. Once your kayak is launched, you may wade fish, but must stay tethered to your vessel.
- · A ½ pound bonus will be awarded for bringing in ALL live fish. This will be added to the tournament’s total stringer weight. There will be no deduct for bringing in any dead fish.
- · All entrants in the event agree to follow the above rules and subject themselves to a polygraph test, if deemed necessary.
- · You MUST follow ALL Texas Parks & Wildlife Regulations.
